DMS School Supply Lists!

Starting to Think About Back to School?

The following supply lists have been created by each of the DMS teams to help students prepare and stay organized during the school year.   These are recommended supplies based on the planned lessons and what has worked best for our students in previous years.   If your family would benefit from assistance in securing school supplies, please reach out to our Main Office. 

• A reusable water bottle - labeled with student’s name

• Chromebook-compatible headphones or earbuds.  They must be wired, airpods or bluetooth headphones will not work.   DMS will no longer be providing headphones to students.  

• #2 pencils 2+ packages

• Handheld Pencil Sharpener 

• Pens - blue and black - 12/pkg

• Colored pencils - 8 or 12 pack

• Zippered pencil case - 3 hole punched - to clip in binder

• A calendar / agenda to record school assignments (optional but definitely recommended!)

• Box of Tissues (Optional but appreciated to give to WIN block teacher)

GRADE 6 SUPPLIES

• 1 Binder  (1” - 1.5”) Math 

• 1 Binder (1.5’) Science

• 1 subject notebook

• 1 pack pocket dividers for binder 

• 500 Lined Index Cards

• Calculator-Optional

• 12 inch ruler - Optional 

• 1 Binder Pouch

• 2 packs of loose binder paper - college ruled-three hole punched preferred

• 5  two-pocket folders

GRADE 7 SUPPLIES

• 3 (1’’) Binders

• 1 ( 2”) Binder

• 4 packs Tab Dividers for binders

• 3 packs of loose binder paper - college ruled-three hole punched preferred

• 5  two-pocket folders

• Flashcards/index cards 

• Scientific calculator - TI-30

• 2 Expo Markers

• 1 Composition notebook

GRADE 8 SUPPLIES

• 3 Binders (1” - 1.5”)

• 2  1-Subject Notebooks

• 3 packs Tab Dividers for binders

• 3 packs of loose binder paper - college ruled-three hole punched preferred

• 3 two-pocket folders

• 1 packages of correcting pens ( NO Blue or Black)

• Scientific calculator - TI-30  (reuse from 7th)

• 1 package Correcting pens (NOT blue or black)

• Ruler - 6in or 12in
