Dedham Public Schools will continue to receive FREE school meals in School Year 2024-2025, and in all future years. This means that breakfast and lunch will continue to be served at no cost to all students. Your student can receive 1 FREE complete breakfast and 1 FREE complete lunch each school day.
It's never too soon to start thinking about the next school year!! Yellow bus transportation is available to every eligible Dedham student.
Stay Up To Date With DMS...
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month - September 15th - October 15th - we've compiled some amazing resources to help our students and families learn more about the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
In Social Science and World Geography, DMS 7th graders delved into the enduring influences of Central and South Asia on our modern world. To further explore the concept of community, students shared personal artifacts and created personalized nameplates for their classmates.

We are so proud to share that two amazing DMS teachers recently received recognition at the district opening day! Ms. Galicia, grade 7 science teacher, was awarded the Dee Miloski Award. Mr. Kaufman, technology teacher and coach, was awarded the Ed Kelley Award.
Supply lists have been created by each of the DMS teams to help students prepare and stay organized during the school year. These are recommended supplies based on the planned lessons and what has worked best for our students in previous years.
8th grade students visited Dedham High School for a tour of the building in advance of moving on to DHS in September.
DMS took to the parade route for Dedham Flag Day on July 14th. DMS was represented on the Community Resource Dog float and with a marching performance by the DMS band.
In June each year, the Physical Education department organizes a dodgeball tournament for each grade. From team names, signature songs, and of course costumes, this is a fan favorite event!
The New England Math League (NEML) contest is designed to be a challenge. Participants must answer 30 multiple choice questions in just 30 minutes! This year, 188 students in Grades 4-8 signed up to participate in the (NEML) contest!
